Gil’s father was a successful stage actor on Broadway, and so Gil grew up “in the business,” and has been a solo artist with 7 albums of his own, and a successful working musician in New York City, for 35 years…
Gil also got a full scholarship to Berklee but wound up leaving after a few months because at age 17, he got a full time job gigging on the road. There are some great stories in this call, and Gil really has “been there and done that”... you definitely don’t want to miss this one, for sure:
